BEL 1 pilots are back in Europe! Ronny and Luc, and also the pilots from FIN1 did come back to Europe (Marseille) overnight. Before the trip, they packed their balloons carefully and arranged also shipment for the equipment. Ronny and Luc are heading for Geneva now for the debriefing and closing ceremony tomorrow Saturday. The invasion of the three gas balloons in Algeria from overseas is ‘Hot News’ in Belgium. At about 22:10 LT the Belgian TV één has a live talk with pilots Luc Van Geyte and Ronny Van Havere (Belgian Team) in the program ‘De laatste show’.

They did it…

All teams safely landed now. FRA 1, Sébastien Rolland and Vincent Lëys, just confirmed safe landing in Portugal, Lagos Airport area. Congratulations to all teams!

 

FRA1 is still flying…

While our good friends Vincent and Sébastien (team FRA1) are still in the air trying to get a little bit farther than the already fantastic result of SUI1 our team is preparing for a trip to Algiers. From Algiers, they will try to get onto a ferry to Marseille… it seems that they’re not yet home but everything looks well coordinated by the ambassadors... Read more ....
